Hello, friends! Today I want to share with you the fabulous Plume Science. They contacted me recently and offered to send some of their gorgeous limited edition collections to try, and of course I agreed. So full disclosure, I received these items in exchange for a blog post. Plume makes 100% natural, cruelty-free lash and brow serum that’s free of parabens, alcohol and fragrances. Their products are easy to apply and boast incredible reviews! I have been trying their products for a week or so now, and am just really amazed that their products don’t irritate my eye at all. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may remember an earlier post where I talked about finding natural makeup and basically switching all my cosmetics to more natural options. This is for a couple reasons – first, I have very sensitive eyes and skin. Chemicals tend to make me very itchy. Second, I’m not really keen on having those chemicals seeping into my skin. I’d much rather use mother nature! So, you can understand my excitement at a product that works and is comfortable/easy to use/wear.
By the way, if you want to snag your own Plume Limited Edition kit, you can get it by clicking here.
I’m curious, how many of you readers out there have used a brow or lash enhancing serum, or gotten extensions? Is it something you would consider? Let me know below – I love to hear your thoughts!
Plume also sent me this brow pomade, lash curler, tweezers and pomade brush. TBH, I used to use eye-shadow to fill in my brows (shocking, I know I know), but I’ve definitely been loving the way this pomade makes my brows look. Plus, the brush makes it super easy to apply. How can you go wrong there?
As a former stylist who got to know some of the ins and outs of the beauty industry, I'm always super excited when I meet a brand that provides accessible, healthy beauty products. @plumescience makes 100% natural, cruelty free, certified vegan and paraben, alcohol, fragrance free lash and brow serum. I'll be reviewing this product on my blog soon, so stay tuned! #plumescience
Plume was born of one woman’s desire to have thicker, fuller lashes without the sometimes dangerous side effects of conventional brands. After mixing and matching her own ingredients and collaborating with some highly skilled people, Plume Science’s all natural brow & lash enhancing serum came to be.
According to their website:
“Through extensive research, she achieved dramatic eyelash enhancements from a host of natural ingredients. However, many of the ingredients were hard to find, required refrigeration, perished quickly, and refused to mix together. Lauren partnered with leading natural and organic cosmetics formulator Irene Schnell. A certified Master in Fragrance & Cosmetics science (EFCM), Irene transformed Lauren’s carefully curated ingredients into an all-natural, long-lasting, preservative-free, safe, and effective formula.
Through the power of women and Mother Nature, Plume Lash and Brow Enhancing Serum was born.”
Personally, I do feel that on top of not being irritating to the skin or eyes (for me at least), this does help to make my brows a little thicker. My brows are very thick in some areas an quite sparse in others, and not even on each side. I’m hoping this will remedy that with time. Once I’ve used it the product a little longer, I hope to share some before and after pics. Stay tuned!
